Renting a car in Sliema
Sliema has the highest concentration of foreign residents on the island and, not coincidentally, the tightest parking. Most of our Sliema renters commute out of it — to Mriehel, Qormi or the airport — rather than into it, which makes a small automatic the sensible choice.
Parking, and what car to choose
Genuinely difficult on weekday evenings. Residential blue bays dominate the Ferries and Tigné ends; the multi-storey car parks are worth the few euros over circling. A compact car is not a preference here, it is a strategy.

Exactly the same as everywhere else we deliver: comprehensive insurance with collision damage waiver, every scheduled service and wear item, the annual road licence, the VRT roadworthiness test, 24/7 island-wide roadside assistance and a like-for-like replacement car if yours has to go into the workshop. Delivery to Sliema and collection at the end of the term are free.
How long you can rent for
From one month on a rolling Flexi term through to twelve months and beyond. Most renters in Sliema are on Season or Half Year terms, and the rate drops each time the commitment lengthens. There is no credit application at any term — this is a rental, not finance.
